Identifying the Inquiry and Stating the Problem

Qualitative research is a type of social inquiry that focuses on the various ways in which people make meaning of their knowledge in the environment they live in. It also entails the interpretation of their day-to-day experiences. We live in a world where people of various ethnicities live peacefully alongside one another. To create this comparison, we might question what the features, differences, and similarities are. In this situation, qualitative research is critical in resolving all of our concerns.

It is a type of investigation that examines information communicated in natural situations through language and action. It is used to capture expressive information about beliefs, values, sentiments, and motivations that underpin behaviors that is not expressed in quantitative data. We may make sense of reality, describe and explain the social environment, and construct explanatory models and theories using qualitative research. It is the principal means of constructing or re-examining the theoretical basis of social sciences.
